I’m a HUGE fan of recycling, repurposing and reusing what ever we can. The other day I discovered a new site which helps people to trade items so they don’t get thrown away. It’s called Gigoit. They’re still in beta (so it’s not too active yet), but it looks like a great way to connect with people who may want the stuff you’re getting rid of.

I love going to the beach to look for shells and other interesting things. Today I found a list on CNN which tells what beaches are best for finding good stuff:

Sanibel (#1 on the list) is a 5-6 hour drive from us. Cumberland Island in Georgia is probably about the same, so when I can find someone to go with me, yeah baby!! It would have to be an overnight trip for sure. Who wants to go?
